Anyways, just wanted to let you guys know that I'm applying to DailyDeviants in their new Photography section! I'm really excited about it, and I really hope I get in - There's so many undervalued photographers on DeviantArt who I follow, and I want to help them get a bigger following!

All about me:

Art is my life, my passion, and, in a year, my field of study in college. I am applying to Manhattanville College soon, hoping to attain a BFA in photography or graphic arts and design. Last year, I studied independantly with an art teacher on my school. Our subject was photography. I'll admit, my photography skills need imporvement! However, that does not stop me from interacting with other Deviants here on DevinatArt - In fact, it encourages me to admire and take tips from more accomplished artists! I watch a myriad of talanted photographers here on DeviantArt in various subjects. Few of them are well-known, but they are all extremely talanted!

Why I want to be on the DailyDeviants Team:

I feel that, with the introduction of the digital camera into society, photography is becoming a more and more accessable art form. When artists are able to tell what their shots look like without even needing to develop film. People who have a passion for photography are able to take professional-looking shots without leaving home. Teenagers are learning about photogrpahy early, and by the time they get to college, their skills have already been honed more than they would have been only a few years ago. I already find great enjoyment and delight in discovering these photographers whose skills have seeped and flowered, and I want to share the underappreciated work and beauty with others who might not otherwise be able to take in the intense feelings these images evoke.

Culdepoule is an exceptionally talanted photographer. She is especially good at floral photography. Her unique focus and angle are carefully construed to create emotions in the viewer. She has a small following, but deserves much more than that!

Ochrasy is another skilled photographer. Her strength lies in motion and colors. She takes bright, beautiful pictures that examine life in new angles. Her work is definitely innovative!

Sarah-Lace is the exact opposite of Ochrasy - In a good way. Her colors are much paler, and she tands to take pictures that are still. However, she manages to fit into this dim, cold landscape is warmth you can only imagine by viewing her work.
